review / fuller house

i know, fuller house came out on netflix a week ago and i'm reviewing it now.  like i mentioned in my last post, i am pre-writing posts so i don't fall behind in school, so, i'm writing this the day after fuller house was released on netflix.  just to make things clear(er).

i wouldn't say i grew up on full house, but i grew up on full house.  my brother and i used to watch it on nick@nite every saturday morning and on abc family everyday over the summer.  we loved full house and still do to this day.  when i found out this show was coming out, i was so excited.  besides getting new full houses with the continuation of dj, stephanie, and kimmy, i was ecstatic to find out that it was going to be on netflix!  i can (have been) binge-watch the whole first season!
the first episode made me cry.  even thinking about the first episode to write about it is making me tear up!! it was crazy to see everyone (except for michelle... olsen twins.....) all grown up and leaving the full house.  not only that, but the theme song in the beginning gave me major nostalgia and feels.  and at the end of the first episode, when everyone was leaving and dj was crying with tommy, and stephanie and kimmy said they'd move in to help, major crying moment!! i love dj's boys and kimmy's daughter.  jackson, dj's oldest, is a ton like dj was in the older episodes.  max, her middle child, has the spunk and attitude that stephanie had, and tommy's just a little baby, just like michelle was when the show first started.  kimmy's daughter, ramona, has her own little personality with a mix of gibbler.   i am obsessed with the slight shades that they throw at mary-kate and ashley olsen.  i think it is hilarious! way to teach them what they're missing out on! i'll admit, i was really scared that this show would be a flop.  everyone would build up this massive thing about how great the show was going to be, and then it would be nothing like the originals.  totally impressed with the show! it is a ton like the older ones, with a bit of a "2010's" vibe to it, which is totally what today's kids need.  i am currently on episode 6, but as soon as i am done watching this, i'm going to go binge it some more!!

RATE - 9/10
WOULD I RECOMMEND? - OF COURSE!

next week i will have a halsey colors mv review.  i know, that one will be vv late too! ugh! but i still wanted to write it!

until next week!
