i hate when i don't have money. i feel dead when i don't have money. its kinda like a piece of me is gone, you know? here are some ways you can save money so you don't feel so empty.
1/ sales racks
sales racks are your best friend. i've found $100 dresses for $20 before from sales racks! if you see something in the store you want, wait a week and come back. more than likely it will be on the sales rack for half the price!
2/ samples
new lotion you want to try? before you go out and buy a whole bottle, see if the company has a sample on their website. companies tend to have free samples of new products so you can try them. then, if you like it, go get a full size!
3/ lowest to highest price
i tend to do a lot of online shopping (there isn't a ton of stores where i live. boohoo) and i always do lowest to highest price. i can get more stuff that isn't as expensive instead of 1 really expensive thing!
4/ coupon codes
another online shopping tip/ right before i check out, i always look up coupon codes for the store before i check out. weather its free shipping or 50% off. a deal is a deal, right?
5/ sales
if there is a sale, i am there. even if it isn't a really good sale, i'll still go look. who can pass up a sale?
6/ price match
walmart has a deal on lipsticks but you're at target? no problem. show the walmart ad at checkout, and they'll match the price! no running store-to-store for sales!
7/ reward programs
i can't sign up for reward programs, yet. but they have amazing deals for reward program members! sometimes its 30% off, sometimes its buy one get one free. hey, a deal is a deal, right?
8/ thrift stores/garage sales
i'm currently redecorating my room. i have my local 'garage sale' pages on my facebook, and i found some really nice (and adorable) pillows that i only paid a couple bucks for! i also got some picture frames that i'm gonna stain and redo. i only spent a couple dollars on the frames, and it will only cost me a couple dollars to redo them! if i would have paid full price they would have costed me an arm and a leg. it seems a bit crazy, and some people are totally againsted it, but garage sales and thrift stores at times can be my best friend.
9/ limit how much you can spend at the store
i need a new outfit for school, and i only want to spend $20. sounds impossible, right? a good tip is to only bring the $20 you want to spend. nothing more, nothing less. it will force you to only spend the $20.
those are my money saving tips. i really hope i helped you out! if you have any good money saving tips, please leave them in the comments below. i'm always looking for ways to save money!
next week will be a review, one that i'm really excited for! it will be an album review. if you know what album it is leave it in a comment below!! i'm so excited!!
until next week!
